This policy explains how Builtwise Group Pty Ltd (ABN 73 675 775 096, ACN 675 775 096), trading as BWG Sheds, handles personal information collected through this website. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Details you enter in our forms: name, phone, email, the site's postcode and suburb, the type of shed, approximate size, options, site status, whether you want approval help, your timing, any notes, and any photos or files you attach.
• How you found us: the page you landed on, the referring website and campaign tags in the link you used (for example utm_source or an advertising click identifier), stored with your enquiry.
• Website usage data collected through Google Analytics cookies or similar technology (pages viewed, device, approximate location). Analytics never receives the content of your form.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, design and supply your shed, arrange approval documents if you ask us to, improve our website and measure which marketing works. We do not sell personal information and we don't add you to a mailing list from a quote request.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host our website and process form submissions (Netlify), analytics providers (Google), and, when you engage us, the engineers, certifiers and councils involved in your shed's approval. Some providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Files you attach are stored privately and accessed only through time-limited links.

Security and retention

We protect information with access controls and secure (HTTPS) transmission, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by calling 07 5466 5858 or writing to Builtwise Group Pty Ltd, 258 Rochedale Road, Rochedale QLD 4123. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
